Yeah. Today I wrote my large animal surgery final worth 100%...and now it's over and it's spring break. I love spring break mostly because it's time away from school! (which of course is really obvious I guess!). My parents are on their way here to visit and hopefully we will finish all the drywalling. I'll post some pic's soon, I just need to figure out my new camera. Then I have a few days to catch up on some stuff and relax, sleep in etc. Jarvis and I are taking the VIA rail train to Jasper for a few days. I'm pretty excited to get away.
I also found out today that my externship is approved! In fourth year we have the option to go somewhere else for up to 4 weeks. I met a veterinarian who is board certified in surgery this summer when I was working at the school. Anyhow he owns a referral practice in Long Island...and said I could come there. I will be doing some dentistry, oncology and surgery while I am there and I also get to stay with him and his wife for free. New York, here I come! Jarvis is hoping to come out for one of the weekends to do some sightseeing with me. I can't wait.

eeeeeeek! NYC...honey, i would be jealous if i didn't know how much you deserve this opportunity. as long as you bring me back a fabulous pair of shoes, i shall forgive you ;) love you so much...ENJOY your time off school and say hi to your hubby for me.
