So only one more week until spring break for me! I can't wait. February has been a really long month. Mostly I am just getting tired of the cold weather and wishing I was in Alberta where the Chinook would come and blow away the snow and I could be warm once again. I have a final this week, which I should be studying for right now since it's worth 100%, but here I am procrastinating and writing to all of you!

My parents were out a few weekends ago and we were able to finish about 2/3 of the drywalling in our basement. I am super excited since it is starting to take shape. We even ordered our carpet already....classic berber type! I also had the unfortunate event of getting into an accident, which I hope never happens again. However, my car is now fixed and I am okay which is what matters.

Next week Jarv and I are taking the VIA rail snow train to Jasper for three days. I'm pretty excited just to get away and relax. I think we might go on a cave/ice tour/hike in the evening one day since it is supposed to be pretty amazing in the moonlight.

Oh and I made an exciting purchase on Saturday....a camelbak. Its pretty cool since it is a women's fit and is grey and tan. Jarvis got one for his birthday last year and then every time we went mountain biking he got to use it while I did the old water bottle system. I was pretty jealous, so this year I decided that I would spoil myself and get one for myself as well.

Well I should probably get back to equine colic surgery.....

(PS. maybe if you all harass Jarvis, he will finally post something....he always says he has nothing to write, which I'm sure isn't true!!)
